Browser Apple Safari is prone to critical vulnerabilities

Web Browser Apple Safari contains a critically dangerous vulnerability that can allow infection running Windows malicious code. This is now reported both American and US-Cert Danish IT company Secunia. Both reports indicate that hackers are able to completely compromise the computer with DriveBy-attack.

According to Secunia, the vulnerability can occur when generating a new browser window with specially generated maliciously title. In practice, this vulnerability can be exploited through this common link labeled Web page opens in a new window.

The process is infecting your PC when opening a new page or popup PopUp-window. In US-Cert said that recorded the attack, a scenario which leads to the discovery of new pages, GMail services and Windows Live Hotmail. The message of both sources said that the attack exposed with all browsers Safari 4 family, including the latest stable version 4.0.5.

Secunia classifies found a bug as "extremely dangerous". It adds more danger and the fact that the minimum modification of code there is a threat of attack and the environment in Mac OS X.
