The California court refused to initiate proceedings against RapidShare

District Court of California has recognized Hosting RapidShare guilty of copyright infringement. Decision to refuse a temporary injunction was issued May 18, said "Лента.ру" referring to the news release RapidShare.

Lawsuit against RapidShare was filed in November 2009 by American adult magazine "Perfect 10" who had sought to ban distribution of images from magazine on service. RapidShare AF, managing resources, asked the court to postpone its consideration of the court and move to Europe. However, the Court refused to RapidShare and decided to consider the case in the U.S..

"Perfect 10" RapidShare accused of illegally placing 26 thousand images and videos of the journal copyrighted. Also called the magazine hosting the largest violator of copyrights and accused RapidShare with revenue from the placement of pirated content.

The court motivated decision that the claimant failed to prove a single case of placement of content on your host.
